Dauntless was founded by a 21-year-old who made his first million in D2D. Not because he was talented — because he found the right people, stayed coachable, and refused to quit.
He watched too many people with real ambition burn out because they had no guidance, no financial education, and no one in their corner who genuinely cared about where they ended up.
Dauntless exists to fix that. If you have the will, we have the blueprint.
06Questions
Do I need experience?
No — we prefer people who don't. Bad habits are harder to fix than no habits. If you're coachable, we teach you everything.
Is this commission only?
Yes, for most roles. That means no guaranteed paycheck — the upside is uncapped, but if you don't sell, you don't earn. We're direct about that before you start, not after.
How fast can I start earning?
Some reps close their first week. Others take longer while the process clicks. First-month results vary a lot by person, market, and vertical — we'll show you real ranges on the call, not just the highlight reel.
What does training look like?
Full onboarding before day one. Proven scripts, live roleplay, objection frameworks, field training with people actively producing.
What if I want to start my own business?
That's one of our actual goals for you. We teach you to build — and when you're ready, we're one of your first resources.
In person or remote?
Field sales is in person — at the door. Business-building and training has both. We work around your market.
Is this a pyramid scheme or MLM?
No. You're selling real products and services — pest control, solar, fiber, insurance — to real customers. You get paid when a customer buys, not because someone else joined. If you're looking for recruiting-only income, this isn't it.
Am I 1099 or W2?
Depends on the vertical and partner. Most D2D roles are independent-contractor (1099) — no salary, you handle your own taxes. If a role is W2, we'll say so clearly before you sign anything.
What does it actually cost to start?
Applying costs nothing. Before you commit, we'll tell you what's actually on you — transportation, phone, travel or housing if you relocate, licensing where required. We'd rather you know the cost than get surprised by it.
Do I need a car?
Usually, yes — this is field sales. Some markets have team housing or ride arrangements, but plan on needing reliable transportation to territory every day.
What if I don't make money?
Then we look at it honestly — activity, coaching, market, schedule, skill. This is commission-based, so income isn't guaranteed. We'll train you and tell you the truth, but we won't pretend the door is easy.
